History

The school commenced on 10th June 1995 as a sisuvatika. Classes started in a humble way in a thatched-hut, on a small piece of land newly acquired by Deenadayal Educational & Cultural Charitable Trust, Engandiyur.

  • With every passing year, higher grades were added on. In due course, a new plot of land was acquired and construction of a new facility was started to accommodate the rapidly expanding institution
  • The foundation stone for the new building of the school was laid by the Organizing Secretary of Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan Kerala Chapter Sri. Mananeeya A.V Bhaskaran in 1999.
  • The inauguration of the new full-fledged school was done by Sri.O.Rajagopal(Former Union Minister) in 2000. In the year 2006, the school received provisional affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
  • The school shifted to the new building soon after this. It is the Member of VidyaBharathi and Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan Kerala and is managed by Deenadayal Educational and Cultural Charitable Trust. We have sailed a long journey and grown to become the major English medium schools around the coastal area and is continually growing in size fulfilling the Emotional, Social, Physical, Intellectual and Spiritual needs in children.
